Charity telethon thingies

always amazes me how much can be raised in 24 hours

how come we cannot fix all social issues

I despise anything like this, Children in Need, I wonder why?! Because this government has created more poverty than ever, we have over 600% increase in food banks under this government. Charity starts at home, on your doorstep with the people around you.

There are plenty of rich people in this world, enough to end all poverty and famine and help the starving and neglected children. But they don't give a penny, they control the masses, making us feel guilty and wavering our wages to 'Children in Need', Band Aid.

Childline is another scam, using that to filter out VIP pedophiles and sweep them neatly under the carpet.

And what is with the adverts on TV for NCPCC, NCPCA etc etc. Surely their advertising budget will create more revenue than donations from the said adverts. Lovely big glossy adverts staring crying babies and puppy dog eyes.... I am such a cynic these days. I won't donate because I don't know where my money is going.

Now friends raising money for their chosen charities is a different matter, 100% give them all my wages.   They do not advertise in the middle of The Chase, ruining my program by begging for money from me.
